The support of HPL to the project school, the clinic facility at Kirne and the local health post at head-works have continued as usual, as has the twenty-four hours emergency service by ambulance

Rural Electrification Programmes
JREDP II (Jhankre Rural Electrification and Development Project Phase II) has been completed successfully with more than 4600 households electrified in total. Several rural development activities have also been carried out and a number of small and medium sized enterprises have been established through the project.

In order to continue the successful rural electrification efforts and community development activities in the areas surrounding the Khimti plant, HPL has initiated the Khimti Neighborhood Development Project (KiND)
